I just found out Norm Architects‘ website and felt in love with their work in less than two seconds. A nordic flair is everywhere, and not only that. This is Fredensborg house.

I usually prefer light and gentle colors, but this 150 sqm converted warehouse, located in Sydney, Australia, designed by Ian Moore Architects is definitely an exception. I really like the purity of volumes and materials. The use of black and white colors is very graphic.

I just found out about Swedish interior stylist Lo Bjurulf. Her work is really inspiring and underlined by a typical Scandinavian signature style.

Here are some pictures of the nice walk through the FuoriSalone in Milan during the Fiera del Mobile that ended last weekend. As always, it is overwhelming and very inspiring. Enjoy some details that my Architect friend Barbara just sent me!
The beetle is a real icon. Not only as an unforgettable car, but also as the top ad campaign of the century. The 1960s ad campaign for the Volkswagen Beetle did much more than boost sales and build a lifetime of brand loyalty. The ad, and the work of the ad agency behind it, changed the very nature of advertising–from the way it’s created to what you see as a consumer today. Check it out!
I can’t help it! White always catches my attention. Italian-born designer Chiara Ferrari has designed the interior of this contemporary three bedroom apartment, a warehouse conversion in London Bridge, with a view over the river. The result is stunning. Enjoy some pics and get inspired!

I love these lamps! They are as delicate as the real jellyfish can be. The fact that jellyfish produce light in their bodies, known as bioluminescence, inspired Californian designer Roxy Russell to create The Medusae Collection of these gorgeous jellyfish lamps. This is definitely a poetic approach to lighting design and, more than that, a poetic vision of use of plastic (the main cause of ecosystem’s destruction). If you want to give a nice, fresh and refined touch to your living room, well….there is no doubt. This is the way to go.
Surrounded by the fields of Skåne, you’ll find this beautiful farmhouse, tastefully renovated in minimalist style with lovingly chosen details and open spaces. I love the nice feeling that one gets from it. The upper total white room is pure magic.
I stepped on this video a couple of days ago. It is made for Architecture lovers. But also for those who love beauty and intelligent ways of expressing it. Check it out!
This house in Kitakami designed by Yukiko Architects is a very gentle Architecture. The interior space is totally fluid and the eyes flow on rounded walls without any interruption. The strong contrast with the exterior neighborhood underlines the purity of this space. Once again white color and natural wood give warmth to the clean refined architecture. Well…I just keep falling in love with Japan.
